Tokyo
Every tour is private and tailored to you. Your local guide will meet you at your hotel, plan a route around your interests and running level, and adjust the pace and route as needed.
After booking, you can communicate with your assigned guide by email to discuss your preferences or any requests before the tour. During the run, your guide takes care of navigation and route choices so you can focus on running and experiencing the city.
Photos and videos from your tour will be shared with you afterwards, so you can enjoy the run without worrying about capturing every moment yourself.
15 km was a bit of a challenging distance for me, but thanks to the guide’s thoughtful pacing and the shaded route he chose, I was able to finish it without any problems. I got to see many different sides of Tokyo, so I’m really glad I chose the 15 km tour instead of the 7 km or 10 km one.
Because we started at 6:30, we were able to run without getting caught in the crowds. A big part of that was probably Hidehito choosing routes that were not crowded. Thanks to him, I was able to see that Tokyo is actually a much more runner-friendly and easy city to run in than I had expected.
I had such a great morning out with Hedehito. He met me at my hotel and took me on a wonderful 17k loop through the city. This was the highlight of my time in Tokyo! Will recommend to all my friends who come to Tokyo.
We set off from where I was staying in Shibuya and explored all kinds of places around Tokyo. I never expected to see so much—Tokyo Tower, the Imperial Palace, Shinjuku, the Olympic Stadium, and more.
On my own, I probably would not even have made it to Shibuya Crossing.
Since Tokyo has so many sights to see, I would recommend the 21 km tour if you are going to run.
I’m really glad I chose this tour.
I’m very satisfied. I didn’t think I’d be able to see much in just around 10 km, but thanks to the guide, I got to see some amazing shrines and a beautiful tree-lined path that I never expected.
